High School Gold Band

The High School Gold Band is the advanced music ensemble of the school, directed by C. J. Brooks. This year, the ensemble is composed of two flutes, two clarinets, two trumpets, four alto saxophones, two tenor saxophones, a base guitar, a tuba and a piano, which play all together in a wide variety of songs and styles throughout the year.  Within the school year the Gold Band performs in five concerts outside of regular school hours including the High School Band Festival and the Lincoln Department Music Tour.
